Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. With your own proxy, Shellroute runs without an account. You need one only for the built-in routes.
How is usage calculated?
Bandwidth is metered bidirectionally (upload + download) during each proxy session. Usage is reported every 30 seconds, with a final report on disconnect.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. Pay per use, per GB. No monthly fees, no minimum spend, no contracts. You only pay for the bandwidth you use.
What happens after the starter credit?
Add credit when you need more. The minimum top-up is $1, and you'll get a low-balance warning at $0.50.
